Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM solidDB. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted SELECT query using a ROWNUM condition within a subquery to trigger an abnormal shutdown.

The vendor has assigned APAR IC79861 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target service to shutdown.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (Interim Fix 5 ( Build 2012-01-17)).
