Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Solaris Cluster Configuration Utility. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit a flaw in the Solaris Cluster configuration utility (clsetup(1CL)) to gain elevated privileges and potentially execute arbitrary commands with root privileges.

Version 3.2 of the utility is affected.

Martin Carpenter from Citco (www.citco.com) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.

SPARC Platform

* Solaris Cluster 3.2 (for Solaris 9) with patch 126105-34 or later
* Solaris Cluster 3.2 (for Solaris 10) with patch 126106-34 or later

x86 Platform

* Solaris Cluster 3.2 (for Solaris 10) with patch 126107-34 or later
