Description:   A vulnerability was reported in BlackBerry Enterprise Server. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted PDF file that, when opened by the target user on a BlackBerry smartphone, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target system that hosts the BlackBerry Attachment Service.

RIM has assigned SDRs 278437, 278003, 278012, and 278031 to this vulnerability.

BlackBerry Professional Software version 4.1.4 is also affected.

Sean Larsson of iDefense Labs reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system that hosts the BlackBerry Attachment Service.
