Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Symantec Ghost Solution Suite. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted UDP packets to either the client or server daemon to cause the target service to crash.

The vendor was notified on December 13, 2006.

Symantec credits Pravus and iDefense Labs with reporting these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix for version 2.0.0, available via LiveUpdate.

The vendor has also issued patches for version 1.1, available at the links provided in their advisory.
