Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Juniper Junos. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can exploit an input validation flaw in the device control daemon process (dcd) when the target device requests an IP address and address mask for itself.

Junos devices configured to use DHCP are affected.

The vendor has assigned PR 1082817 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
