Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Juniper Junos. A remote user can obtain passwords in certain cases.

For SRX series devices configured to use HTTP/HTTPS pass-through authentication services, a remote user that can conduct a man-in-the-middle attack or compromise a destination server may be able to capture credentisl during follow-on HTTP/HTTPS requests.

FTP and Telnet pass-through authentication services are not affected.

The vendor has assigned PR 1122278 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain passwords in certain cases where HTTP/HTTPS pass-through authentication services are used.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (12.1X46-D67, 12.3X48-D25, 15.1X49-D35, 17.3R1).
