Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS. A remote user can cause the target service to reload.

A remote user can send a specially crafted Local Packet Transport Services (LPTS) frame to trigger a frame validation flaw in IOS XR and cause one of the LPTS processes to restart, interrupting LPTS traffic while the process restarts.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvf76332 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
