Description:   A vulnerability was reported in KDE kauth and kdelibs. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system. KDE is affected.

A local user can exploit a logic flaw when invoking dbus and spoof the caller identity to gain root privileges on the target system.

Sebastian Krahmer from SUSE reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   Ubuntu has issued a fix for KDE.
