Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Identity Services Engine. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted Password Authentication Protocol (PAP) authentication requests to trigger a flaw in the Active Directory integration component and cause all subsequent authentication requests to fail.

Systems configured with an authorization policy based on Active Directory group membership are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuw15041 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause all authentication requests to fail.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
