Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in WordPress. A remote user can conduct cross-site request forgery attacks. A remote authenticated user can cause the target application to fail.

A remote authenticated user can trigger a path traversal flaw in the wp_ajax_update_plugin() function in 'ajax-actions.php' to read data from '/dev/random/ and deplete the entropy pool, preventing PHP scripts from running [CVE-2016-6896].

A remote user can create a specially crafted HTML page or URL that, when loaded by the target authenticated user, will take actions on the target interface acting as the target user, including conducting the above described path traversal attack [CVE-2016-6897].
