Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Security AppScan. A remote user can conduct XML external entity attacks to obtain files on the target system.

A remote user can supply specially crafted XML External Entity (XXE) data to the target interface to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

IBM Security AppScan Enterprise and IBM Security AppScan Standard are affected.

The IBM X-Force Ethical Hacking Team (Paul Ionescu, Warren Moynihan, Jonathan Fitz-Gerald, John Zuccato, Chris Shepherd, Dmitriy Beryoza) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can read potentially sensitive information on the target system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix (9.0.3.2).
