Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASA. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted multicast packet to the target device to trigger a flaw in the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) application can disrupt the multicast traffic forwarding on the target device.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCus74398 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can disrupt the multicast forwarding feature on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
