Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apple OS X Server. A remote user can bypass custom firewall rules on the target system.

The firewall configuration files reference an incorrect path value. As a result, the system may not properly enforce custom firewall rules.

Phil Schumm of the Research Computing Group, University of Chicago, reported this vulnerability.


Impact:   A remote user can bypass custom firewall rules on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (OS X Server 4.1).
