Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Task Scheduler. A local user can obtain System privileges on the target system.

Some systems include a known invalid task. A local user can exploit this to cause the task to execute an application on the target system with System privileges.

Renato Ettisberger of IOprotect GmbH reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain System privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
