Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Adobe Shockwave Player. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create specially crafted Shockwave content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

Memory corruption errors can cause code execution [CVE-2010-4308, CVE-2010-4309, CVE-2011-2420].

A memory corruption error in the 'IML32.dll' component can cause code execution [CVE-2011-2419].

A memory corruption in the 'Dirapi.dll' component in parsing of '.dir' media files can cause code execution [CVE-2011-2421].

A memory corruption error in the 'Textra.x32' component can cause code execution [CVE-2011-2422].

A memory corruption error in the 'msvcr90.dll' component can cause code execution [CVE-2011-2423].

Mark Yason of IBM X-Force, Aaron Portnoy and Logan Brown of TippingPoint DVLabs, Andrzej Dyjak of PJIIT, and Honggang Ren of Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create Shockwave content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (11.6.1.629).
