Description:   A vulnerability was reported in PostgreSQL. A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges on the target database.

A remote authenticated user can invoke certain index functions and execute them with super user privileges.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges on the target database.
Solution:   Sun has issued a fix.

* OpenSolaris PostgreSQL 8.1 based upon builds snv_110 or later
* OpenSolaris PostgreSQL 8.2 based upon builds snv_131 or later
* OpenSolaris PostgreSQL 8.3 based upon builds snv_131 or later

x86 Platform

* OpenSolaris PostgreSQL 8.1 based upon builds snv_110 or later
* OpenSolaris PostgreSQL 8.2 based upon builds snv_131 or later
* OpenSolaris PostgreSQL 8.3 based upon builds snv_131 or later

Sun is working on a fix for Solaris 10.
