Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Endpoint Protection. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The software does not properly validate user-supplied input. A remote user can with access to the console can execute arbitrary code. The code will run with the privileges of the target application.

An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via Beyond Security's SecuriTeam Secure Disclosure program.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (11.0 RU7-MP3, 12.1 RU2).
