Description:   A vulnerability was reported in BIND. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a query when the target authoritative server processes a successful IXFR transfer or a dynamic update to trigger a deadlock and cause the server to stop processing all requests.

Neustar reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target system to stop processing requests.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (9.7.3).
