Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the RSA Key Manager C Client. A remote user can inject SQL commands.

The software does not properly validate user-supplied input. A remote user with access to encrypted data can execute SQL commands on the underlying database and modify the RSA Key Manager (RKM) C Client 1.5 cache.

The vendor reports that the resulting impact may lead to data unavailability, such as decryption failure of data encrypted by the modified key.

Impact:   A remote user can execute SQL commands on the underlying database.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix for the following platforms:

Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or higher
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 SP1
HP-UX v11.11 PA 2.0, 32-bit

Other platforms are affected but are no longer supported.

Underlying OS:   Linux (Any), UNIX (HP/UX), UNIX (Solaris - SunOS), Windows (Any)
