Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in Mozilla Thunderbird. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted e-mail that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
Jesee Ruderman, Andreas Gal, Nils, Brian Hackett, Igor Bukanov, Dirk Heinrich, Red Hat Security Response Team member Marc Schoenefeld, and Mozilla security researcher Christoph Diehl reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:
A remote user can create an e-mail message that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

Solution:
The vendor has issued a fix (3.0.11, 3.1.7).
