Description:
A vulnerability was reported in DB2. A remote authenticated user can access objects without proper privileges in certain cases.
When privileges on a database object are revoked from PUBLIC, the dependent functions are not marked INVALID. A remote authenticated user with execute privileges can invoke a user-defined function to access objects that the user is no longer privileged to access.

Impact:
A remote authenticated user can access objects on the target system for which the user's privileges have been revoked.

Solution:
The vendor has issued a fix (APAR IC68015; 9.7 FP3).
