Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Veritas NetBackup. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

A remote authenticated user can invoke the Java Administration GUI (jnbSA) to execute commands that ostensibly require higher privileges.

Kyle Noonan of Sun Microsystems reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system with elevated privileges.
Solution:   The vendor has issued fixed versions (5.1 MP7, 6.0 MP7, 6.5.2).
