Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Solaris in the DTrace dynamic tracing framework. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
A local user with PRIV_DTRACE_USER or PRIV_DTRACE_PROC privileges can exploit a flaw in DTrace to perform some kernel-level tracing. As a result, the local user may then be able to access potentially sensitive information.
