Description:   A vulnerability was reported in HP OpenView Network Node Manager. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to TCP port 2532 to cause the 'ovtopmd' service to crash.

The vendor was notified on May 14, 2007.

An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via VeriSign iDefense.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the 'ovtopmd' service to crash.
