Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Altiris Deployment Solution. A local user can obtain system privileges on the target system.

A local user can use the browser option to open or execute arbitrary files on the target system with system privileges.

Mazin Faour of Information Risk Management reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain system privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (6.8.380.0).
