Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. The browser may incorrectly interpret a local 'file://' resource and launch the incorrect application.

A local user can create a filename URL that contents an encoded null character ('%00'). When the filename URL is loaded, the browser will interpret the file extension differently than the underlying Windows operating system. As a result, the browser may launch an application or launch the incorrect application.
