Description:   A vulnerability was reported in PHP. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote SOAP server can send a specially crafted HTTP redirect response to trigger a buffer overflow in the make_http_soap_request() function and execute arbitrary code on a connected target client system.

Ilia Alshanetsky reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user may be able to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (5.2.2).

Red Hat reported:

A buffer overflow flaw was found in the PHP 'soap' extension, regarding the
handling of an HTTP redirect response when using the SOAP client provided
by this extension with an untrusted SOAP server.  No mechanism to trigger
this flaw remotely is known.  (CVE-2007-2510)
