A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system. A remote user can spoof URLs.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a buffer overflow, use-after-free memory error, or memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2016-2815, CVE-2016-2818, CVE-2016-2819, CVE-2016-2821, CVE-2016-2828].

A local user can exploit a flaw in the Windows updater to overwrite arbitrary files and potentially gain elevated privileges on the target system [CVE-2016-2826]. Windows-based systems are affected.

A remote user can cause the browser to display the wrong icon for a permission notification request [CVE-2016-2829].

A remote user can create a pointerlock within a full screen window [CVE-2016-2831].

A remote user can create CSS pseudo-classes to obtain information on plugins that are installed but disabled [CVE-2016-2832].

A remote user can exploit a flaw in the Content Security Policy (CSP) to load cross-domain Java applets [CVE-2016-2833].

Christian Holler, Gary Kwong, Jesse Ruderman, Tyson Smith, Timothy Nikkel, Sylvestre Ledru, Julian Seward, Olli Pettay, Karl Tomlinson, Jed Davis, Christoph Diehl, Julian Hector, Jan de Mooij, Mats Palmgren, Tooru Fujisawa, firehack, Jordi Chancel, Aral, Armin Razmdjou,
