Description:   A vulnerability was reported in QEMU. A remote user can cause the target guest system to crash or potentially execute arbitrary code.

A remote user (backend) can send specially crafted packets to trigger a buffer overflow in the AMD PC-Net II emulator and cause the target guest system to crash or potentially execute arbitrary code. The code will run with the privileges of the qemu process.

Ling Liu of Qihoo 360 Inc. reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target guest system to crash.

A remote user may be able to execute arbitrary code on the target system with the privileges of the qemu process.
