Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Blue Coat ProxySG. A remote user can obtain authentication information on the target system.

A remote user can send an HTTP 407 authentication challenge request to obtain the NTLM hashes for ProxySG users. The hashes can then be used to obtain the Active Directory passwords of the proxy users.

Systems configured for explicit proxy are affected.

Jonas Vestberg at Sentor Managed Security Services AB reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain NTLM hashes for users on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (6.5.7.1).

A fix is not available for version 6.2.
