Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Juniper Junos. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted BGP update to cause the target rpd service to crash.

Both IPv4 and IPv6 environments are affected.

The vendor has assigned PR 918734 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (10.4R16, 11.4R10, 12.1R8-S3, 12.1X44-D30, 12.1X45-D20, 12.1X46-D10, 12.2R7, 12.3R4-S2, 12.3R5, 13.1R3-S1, 13.2R2, 13.3R1).
