Description:   A vulnerability was reported in EMC Connectrix Manager Converged Network Edition. A remote user can view files on the target system. A remote user can upload files to the target system. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can download files from the target EMC Connectrix Manager Converged Network Edition (CMCNE) system.

A remote user can upload arbitrary files to the target CMCNE system and then cause those files to be executed on the target system.

Andrea Micalizzi, aka rgod, reported this vulnerability (via HP's Zero Day Initiative).

Impact:   A remote user can view files on the target system.

A remote user can upload files to the target system.

A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (EMC Connectrix Manager Converged Network Edition 12.1.2).
