Description:   A vulnerability was reported in libvirt. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted XML data to trigger an API access control flaw and cause libvirtd to crash.

A remote authenticated user with 'connect:read' privileges can exploit this flaw to gain domain:write' privileges.

This flaw was introduced in libvirt 1.1.0.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause libvirtd to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a source code fix, available at:;a=commit;h=57687fd6bf7f6e1b3662c52f3f26c06ab19dc96c
