Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Unified IP Phone 8945. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can place a specially crafted PNG image file on the HTTP Server that the target phone uses to request XML files to cause the target phone to lock up.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCud04270 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target phone to lock up.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
