Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XR. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted Routing Information Protocol (RIP) version 2 packet to cause the target RIP service to crash.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCue46731 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target RIP service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
