Description:   A vulnerability was reported in McAfee Virtual Technician. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can use the 'McHealthCheck.dll' ActiveX control Save() function to create or modify files with System level privileges.

The CLSID of the vulnerable control is: 24565A99-ADDA-47B9-9E86-3C4C3360E256

The vendor was notified on November 19, 2012.

High-Tech Bridge Security Research Lab reported this vulnerability.
