Description:   A vulnerability was reported in libvirt. A remote user may be able to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user with the ability to establish a read-only connection to libvirtd can trigger a use-after-free and cause libvirtd to crash or potentially execute arbitrary code with root privileges.

Tingting Zheng of Red Hat reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user may be able to execute arbitrary code on the target system with root privileges.
