Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Endpoint Protection. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send a specially crafted CAB formatted file to trigger a memory corruption error in 'dec_abi.dll' and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with System privileges.
Other Symantec Antivirus products may also be affected, but no other products have been disclosed by Symantec at the time of this entry.
The vendor was notified on April 8, 2011.
