Description:
Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Adobe Acrobat/Reader. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
A stack overflow may occur [CVE-2012-2049].
A buffer overflow may occur [CVE-2012-2050].
Memory corruption errors may occur [CVE-2012-2051, CVE-2012-4147, CVE-2012-4148, CVE-2012-4149, CVE-2012-4150, CVE-2012-4151, CVE-2012-4152, CVE-2012-4153, CVE-2012-4154, CVE-2012-4155, CVE-2012-4156, CVE-2012-4157, CVE-2012-4158, CVE-2012-4159, CVE-2012-4160].
A heap overflow may occur [CVE-2012-1525].
Memory corruption errors may occur on OS X based systems [CVE-2012-4161, CVE-2012-4162].
Pavel Polischouk of the Vulnerability Research team at TELUS Security Labs, an anonymous contributor (via Beyond Security's SecuriTeam Secure Disclosure Program), Mateusz Jurczyk of the Google Security Team, James Quirk of Los Alamos, New Mexico, John Leitch at Microsoft and Microsoft Vulnerability Research (MSVR), Nicolas Gregoire (via iDefense's Vulnerability Contributor Program), and Mateusz Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind, of the Google Security Team reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:
A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

Solution:
The vendor has issued a fix (9.5.2, 10.1.4) for Windows and OS X.
No solution was available for Linux.
