Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in MySQL. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted data to cause complete denial of service conditions [CVE-2012-0540]. The GIS Extension component is affected.

A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted data to cause partial denial of service conditions. The Server Optimizer [CVE-2012-1689, CVE-2012-1734, CVE-2012-1735], Server [CVE-2012-1756], and InnoDB [CVE-2012-1757] components are affected.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix, described in their July 2012 Critical Patch Update advisory.
