Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Horde Internet Messaging Program (IMP). A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

A remote user can cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser. The code will originate from the site running the Internet Messaging Program (IMP) software and will run in the security context of that site. As a result, the code will be able to access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

The dynamic compose page and the minimal mailbox and message pages are affected.

Impact:   A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site running the Internet Messaging Program (IMP) software, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (5.0.21).

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Internet Mail
Program (IMP) version H4 (5.0.21).

IMP, the Internet Mail Program, is one of the most popular and widely deployed
open source webmail applications in the world. It allows universal, web-based
access to IMAP and POP3 mail servers and provides Ajax, mobile and traditional
interfaces with a rich range of features normally found only in desktop email
clients. For more information on IMP, visit http://www.horde.org/apps/imp.

The major changes compared to the IMP version H4 (5.0.20) are:
     * Fixed XSS vulnerabilities.
     * Fixed regression in PGP support.
     * Improved HTML editor support.
     * Updated Czech, Italian, and Slovak translations.
     * Small bugfixes and improvements.
