Description:
A vulnerability was reported in IBM Cognos TM1. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a buffer overflow on the Admin Server and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the Admin Server process.

The vendor has issued a fix (9.4.1 Interim Fix 2, 9.5.1 Interim Fix 3, 9.5.2 Interim Fix 4).
