Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Bugzilla. A remote user can conduct cross-site request forgery attacks.
The XML-RPC API (xmlrpc.cgi) does not properly validate user-supplied input. A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by a target authenticated user, will cause an arbitrary request to be submitted by the target user's browser. The code will be able to take actions on the site acting as the target user.
Systems running under mod_cgi are not affected.
