Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft .NET. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
The software does not properly restrict inheritance within classes. A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user with a web browser capable of running XAML applications, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
A remote authenticated user can upload a custom ASP.NET application to a web hosting environment and run the application to break out of the sandbox and attack the web hosting system.
A specially crafted Windows .NET application can bypass Code Access Security (CAS) restrictions.
An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via Beyond Security's SecuriTeam Secure Disclosure program.
