Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in Proofpoint Protection Server. A remote user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system. A remote user can inject SQL commands. A remote user can view files on the target system. A remote user can access some administrative modules.
A remote user can bypass authentication on the web interface to access arbitrary user accounts.
A remote user can supply a specially crafted request to view arbitrary files on the target device.
A remote user can supply a specially crafted parameter value to execute SQL commands on the underlying database.
A remote user can execute arbitrary commands on the target device.
A remote user can access some administrative modules without authenticating.
The vendor was notified on February 2, 2011.
