Description:
Two vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer ActiveX controls. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will invoke an ActiveX control and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
One of the Microsoft WMITools ActiveX controls is affected [CVE-2010-3973]. The CLSID of the vulnerable control (WBEMSingleView.OCX) is:

The Microsoft Windows Messenger ActiveX control is affected [CVE-2011-1243]. The CLSID of the vulnerable control (msgsc.dll) is:

RadLSneak reported the Windows Messenger vulnerability via the iSIGHT Partners Global Vulnerability Partnership.
