Description:
A vulnerability was reported in GNOME Display Manager. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
A local user can exploit a race condition in the processing of the cache directories that are used to store dmrc and face icon files to cause the GNOME Display Manager (gdm) to change the ownership of an arbitrary file.
Sebastian Krahmer of the SuSE Security Team reported this vulnerability.
