Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE). A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can conduct cross-domain attacks.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2010-3340, CVE-2010-3343, CVE-2010-3345, CVE-2010-3346. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will access information in another domain or Internet Explorer zone [CVE-2010-3342, CVE-2010-3348].
Aniway of VeriSign iDefense Labs, Nicolas Joly of VUPEN Vulnerability Research Team, Stephen Fewer (via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative), Peter Vreugdenhil (via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative, Yosuke Hasegawa, and Jose Antonio Vazquez Gonzalez of VeriSign iDefense Labs reported these vulnerabilities.
