Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in IBM Informix Dynamic Server. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger an integer overflow in the RPC protocol parsing library (librpc.dll) and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service. Sebastian Apelt reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint.
The vendor was notified on May 22, 2007.
A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted data to trigger a buffer overflow in the oninit.exe process and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service. An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint.
The vendor was notified on February 7, 2008.
A remote authenticated user with SQL query execution privileges can send specially arguments to the DBINFO keyword to trigger a stack overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target database service. An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint.
The vendor was notified on August 26, 2008.
