Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can conduct cross-domain scripting attacks.
When an SVG document served with 'Content-Type: application/octet-stream' is embedded into another document via an <embed> tag with 'type="image/svg+xml"', the Content-Type value is ignored. On websites that allow users to upload arbitrary binary data and that use the 'Content-Type: application/octet-stream' header to prevent script execution, a remote user may be able to bypass this protection and cause scripting code to be executed in a different domain.
Georgi Guninski reported this vulnerability.

Impact:
A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with an arbitrary site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.
